Many, many thanks

    Dear Editor:

Many thanks to all of you thoughtful volunteers, both the weekly regulars as well as those who were responsible for each week's tasty luncheons this past winter hosted at Brady's. We would like to personally thank each and all in print, but don't want to run the risk of inadvertently of leaving someone out. Instead only two names will go to print with the intent to thank all others through their names. Jen for making such a warm, welcoming venue, Brady's, available those many weeks and "Momma Tancy," who wore many hats, including, but not limited to her weekly monster pot of her specially delicious fish chowder, the epitome of all chowders, plus being the maitre d'  extraordinaire!

Besides each week's sumptuous menus, you volunteer movers and shakers got us off our you-know-what to have such an enjoyable social event. Out of the house for Brady's Mondays with much conversation and laughter and fellowship. Nothing better!

As it has been said many times before, "How Fortunate We Are To Live In Such A Caring Community!" We who attended not only benefited, we were able through our donations to help others. Truly, a Win, Win gathering!

Many thanks, also to the Harbor's Congregational Church for continuing of hosting over the years its monthly luncheons this past winter. Their space is always so bright and cheerful coupled with the Church's warm welcoming to all, plus a congregation of excellent "chefs" to make sure we are deliciously well fed! Nothing we would like more to than to express personally our thanks to each and all by name, but it's not going to happen out of fear of (not intentionally) leaving someone out. On the other hand I just might sneak in naming my long time "buddy," Barclay, only out of due respect for someone slightly my senior.

Coupled with the many/varied tasty culinary offerings, you gave an opportunity to have something to look forward to, getting out of the house to enjoy socializing with friends. A big winter-time boost! How fortunate we all are to have such a supportive/caring community of individuals/organizations in which to call home.

    Blessings to all.
