Courtesy of the artistLindsay Grant's collection of paintings currently on exhibit at the MaineHealth Miles Campus Hall Gallery, 35 Miles Road in Damariscotta, are inspired by the natural beauty found near her home and along the coast of Maine. The show, which opened Feb. 28, runs through April 30.
The work captures the energy of rocky shores, the fading light in nearby coves, and the tranquil rhythm of shifting tides along local beaches. Grant works with variety of mediums and techniques which convey the texture, movement, and light that are central to her practice.
