Mr. Bishop was operating his 2002 Toyota Tacoma eastbound when he lost control and slid, while traversing a bend in the road. The loss of traction appeared to be due to rapidly cooling weather causing black ice and excessive speed for the icy conditions. As a result, his vehicle left the roadway on the left, going into a ditch and rolling onto the driver’s side, where it came to rest. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
