Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 3 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 296 calls for service for the period of Aug. 29 to Sept. 5. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 7,721 calls for service.

    Summonses

    Chad C. Bolster, 30, of Bristol was issued a summons Aug. 30 for Illegal Possession of Firearm, on Stoneybrook Lane, Bristol, by Detective Matthew Ryan.

    Samuel S. Thomas, 37, of Bangor was issued a summons Aug. 30 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Duck Puddle Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

    Carroll F. Martin, 94, of Nobleboro was issued a summons Sept. 2 for Reckless Conduct with a Firearm, on Vannah Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Samuel Alexander.

    Kyle Van Der Merwe, 33, of Apex, North Carolina was issued a summons Sept. 2 for Operating Vehicle without License, on US Route 1, Nobleboro, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

    Arrests

    Michael C. Barry, 34, of Brunswick was arrested Aug. 30 for Burglary and Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, on Bay Bridge Road, Brunswick, by Detective Matthew Ryan, who was assisted by Det’s Rollins and Mitkus and Deputy Scott Solorzano.

    Shane J. Elliott, 23, of Whitefield was arrested Sept. 1 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked; Violating Condition of Release; three Knox County warrants for Failure to Appear (x2) and Theft; and a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

    Jeffrey Fairman, 53, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested Sept. 2 for Operating under the Influence, on Oak Street, Bootbay Harbor, by Deputy Owen Beattie.

    Accidents

    On Aug. 29, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Katelyn Bolduc, 40, of Dresden. Ms. Bolduc was operating her 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan westbound when she observed a deer enter the roadway from the westbound ditch and struck it. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

    On Aug. 31, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Hannah J. Acheson-Field, 30, of Wells. Ms. Acheson-Field was operating her 2015 Honda Accord 237 southbound when a deer entered the roadway and collided with her vehicle. Deputy Jerold Winslow was the investigating officer.

    On Sept. 1, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Robert H. Stewart, 63, of Warren. Mr. Stewart was turning right on his 1989 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, out of Sherman Lake rest stop, onto Route 1 in Newcastle. As he was accelerating out of the turn, the passenger on the back stopped holding onto Mr. Stewart to fix her hat. When she let go of the driver, she fell off the back of the motorcycle. Deputy Owen Beattie was the investigating officer.
