Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 11 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 371 calls for service for the period of Sept. 3 to Sept. 10. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,882 calls for service.
Summons
Deandre B. Smith, 28, of Thomaston was issued a summons Sept. 5 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Route 1, Newcastle, by Sgt. Matthew Day.
Arrests
Kevin J. Warner, 42, of Bath was arrested Sept. 3 for Violating Protective Order, on Kaleb Way, Dresden, by Deputy Justin Drake.
Joey L. Peaslee, 43, of Whitefield was arrested Sept. 3 on two Lincoln County warrants, one warrant for Failure to Appear on a Violation of Conditions of Release charge and one for Violating Conditions of Release, on North Mountain Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Ethan Burns. On Sept. 5, Deputy Burns issued Mr. Peaslee summonses for Violating Conditions of Release and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset.
Tyler Mancuso, 39, of Turner was arrested Sept. 3 on a Cumberland County warrant for Failure to Appear on an Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Nicki Winchenbach, 40, of Cushing turned himself in Sept. 3 on a Knox County warrant for Failure to Appear, at the Lincoln County Courthouse, Wiscasset. Mr. Winchenbach was arrested by Deputy Nathan Yeaton and transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, and turned over to correctional staff.
Jill R. Barufaldi, 39, of Bristol was arrested Sept. 3 for Disorderly Conduct – Offensive Words, Gestures and Operating with Suspended Registration, on Pumpkin Cove Road, Bristol, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Allen R. Teele, 54, of Waldoboro was arrested Sept. 4 for Violating Conditions of Release and Domestic Violence Stalking, on Muscongus Road, Bremen, by Deputy Ethan Burns.
Jill R. Barufaldi, 39, of Bristol was arrested Sept. 4 for Violating Condition of Release, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.
Robert D. Burke, 49, of Jefferson was arrested Sept. 4 for Burglary (x2) and Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer (x2), on Atkins Road, Jefferson, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Jason T. Weeks, 46, of Nobleboro was arrested Sept. 7 for Violating a Protective Order and Stalking, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Joseph Booth.
Shawn D. Snodgrass, 28, of Belfast was arrested Sept. 8 for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping and Obstructing Report of a Crime, by the Waldo County Sheriff’s Office, on behalf of an investigation by Deputy Kasey Doyle of an incident which took place on 09/06/24. Mr. Snodgrass was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Robert F. Davison, 40, of Hawaii was arrested Sept. 8 for Operating under the Influence, on Hodgkins Hill Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On Sept. 6, an accident occurred on Waldoboro Road in Bremen involving Robin L. Lailer, 60, of Bremen. Ms. Lailer was operating her 2018 Honda CR-V eastbound when a dog entered the roadway. Lailer swerved to avoid striking the dog and as a result, her vehicle left the roadway, striking several large rocks, causing significant front-end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 6, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Abigail Propp, 41, of Bristol and Helen G. Gallagher, 69, of Bristol. Ms. Propp was operating her 2010 Toyota Corolla on Benner Road and had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Benner Road and Bristol Road. Ms. Gallagher was operating her 2017 Chevrolet Silverado southbound and was turning left (east) onto Benner Road, however, she cut the corner too sharply and struck Propp’s vehicle, causing reportable damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
