Lincoln County parents invited to take survey and win

Parents in Lincoln County are invited to complete a local survey for a chance to win up to $250. Healthy Lincoln County is conducting the survey, which is aimed at parents and grandparents of preteens and teenagers, and the results help the Substance Use Prevention Partnership (SUPP) coalition determine priorities for the coming year.

“We survey our local parents every other year so we can have the most current information to guide our work. Knowing that parents’ time is valuable, we are offering prizes this year to encourage participation,” says Kate Martin, director of Healthy Lincoln County.

The anonymous survey takes around 10 minutes to complete, and there are 15 chances to win. There are two grand prizes of a $250 Visa gift card, three second place prizes of a $100 Visa gift card, and 10 runner-up prizes of a $15 grocery gift card. This survey is open only to people who have a child or grandchild in grades 7-12 in Lincoln County, and the questions ask about parental attitudes and rules around substance use. The survey closes on June 14, and the winners will be notified on that day. The survey can be taken at www.surveymonkey.com/r/LCMEParents2019.

In order to maintain anonymity, participants who complete the entire survey will be routed to a separate survey to enter the raffle. Please contact Healthy Lincoln County at 563-1330, or info@healthylincolncounty.org for more information.
