Letter attacks this good country

Dear Editor:

Who is Dwight Swisher (Letters, 3/26) to attack this good country with his doom and gloom and condemnatory crystal ball forecasting bodies pilled-up in the morgue all in defense of his precious completely incompetent, slothful and lethargic federal government?

Is this the same letter-writer who believes Vindman, the FBI and CIA are patriotic Americans? The same individual as of the Rotary Club? Really? It’s good to know we are all anointed with such a deity.

This situation we are in demands the unity and a supreme form of intelligence that only the private sector can deliver and maintain. The corpulent federal budgets that these sacred synods drain out of our taxes and doll out to extravagant salaries, pensions, vacations, employee parties and fashion shows must not only be sliced up but eliminated. The only item that Swisher writes about that is correct is the promise that this President will destroy the theft that has existed for far too long..

At its base, this is a conservative country led by free enterprise, entrepreneurial pursuit and freedom and liberty of the individual, not by Swisher's’ weak and watered down vein of socialism. The real heroes out there are not the pompous sycophants of the bureaucracies but the first responders, the health care workers, the grocery store workers, the police, fire and the truck drivers. Our President is an authentic rear end kicker and I support him all the way.
