Dear Editor:

Well, Boothbay region members — the Lincoln County Health Board of Trustees has done it again. LCH is now fighting the Dept. of Health and Human Services' CON requirements set down by Commissioner Mary Mayhew a month ago.

The board is appealing the requirement to keep the urgent care center open 24/7. It is disappointing that they remain focused on the money and not dedicated to providing cost-effective, decent healthcare.
