Lady Seahawks drop three more games






The Boothbay Region High School softball team fell to 0-10 on the season with three more losses this week.
On Monday, Boothbay got 10 hits but lost at St. Dom's, 15-3. Saida Riddell, Mikayla McFetridge and Tori Schmid drove in runs for the Lady Seahawks.
Bethany Fox, Jacqueline Schmitz and Sam Ladd each had three hits for St. Dom's. Fox and Ladd also drove in two runs each.
At Mountain Valley on Friday, Falcons' pitcher Lindsey Marrin held Boothbay (0-9) to three hits and the host team went on to win the five inning game, 14-0, in Rumford.
Ally Curton and Karen Flaherty each has three hits for Mountain Valley and Shannon Labouse drove in three runs.
The visiting Lisbon Greyhounds (3-6) scored nine runs in the fourth inning and went on to defeat the Lady Seahawks softball team, 16-0, in five innings on Wednesday, May 8.
Taylor Plourde had four of Lisbon's 16 hits and she drove in three runs. Bailey Madore and Chantal Bisson each had three hits. Kailyn Hill struck out eight Boothbay batters.
Boothbay (0-8), which had only three hits against Lisbon, is scheduled to host Mountain Valley on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
