Boothbay Harbor business owner Don Kingsbury was put on a six-month notice Nov. 8 regarding charges against him earlier this year. According to Lincoln County Superior Court, the District Attorney's Office filed the case with costs, $200 to be paid by Kingsbury. The court said a ruling was not yet made, but the case will be dismissed if Kingsbury has no additional offenses in six months.
In May, Kingsbury pleaded “not guilty” to two charges after controversial web posts directed at the Boothbay Harbor Planning Board in April, as reported in the Register. Kingsbury faced one charge of terrorizing and one charge of improper influence, both Class D offenses.
