King Donald
Dear Editor:
What does it take to become Trump’s nominee to be our nation’s top law-enforcement official?
Short answer:Abject servitude, grifting, a punched-up CV and shameless self-promotion.But above all, you must pretend to be a crusader against the “corruption” of the F.B.I.
Kash Patel (or K$H, his brand name as an online peddler of Trump merch) was a consultant to The Friends of Matt Gaetz and granted hundreds of thousands of Kash Foundation dollars to the families of incarcerated January 6 criminals … but spent far more on promoting his "philanthropy."
He has lied about his career as a public defender in Florida and about his role in the Justice Department’s prosecution of the terrorists who attacked our embassy in Bengazi in 2012.
During what is shaping up to be the most corrupt Administration in modern history, the next Director of the F.B.I. could also be the author of a children’s fantasy trilogy, "The Plot Against the King," in which King Donald is vindicated by a wizard named Kash the Discoverer.
As we know, not all fairy tales end happily — even for kings and their jesters.
