Over 100 people attended the second annual Kentucky Derby hat party and race Saturday at Brady's, with over 50 participants vying for the coveted 'Brass Lamp Cup of Fake Roses" trophy. The winner was a woman from Lewiston who came to Boothbay Harbor with her husband to enjoy the shops and then some fun at the party.

Captain Rusty Court was present looking quite dapper in his homemade Derby hat and squired the ladies around for the better part of the afternoon.

Everyone was thrilled with the long shot upset win of Rich Strike and all are looking forward to the next chapter of the Triple Crown in two weeks.
