Junior Theater Festival rehearsals begin

Spencer Pottle and Sarah Harris are two of the 29 Y Arts Youth who will be attending the Junior Theatre Festival in January 2016.
The group will perform songs from “Godspell Jr.” in the annual competition held in Atlanta, Georgia. Emily Mirabile, arts and humanities director at the Boothbay Region YMCA, is director and choreographer for the region’s talented troupe of youngsters.
Mirabile is planning to hold a concert fundraiser at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Lincoln Theater in Damariscotta.
