Judy Nixon’s paintings are on display in the upstairs Community Room at Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library (BHML), 4 Oak Street. The show will run through September and October during normal library hours.

Judy is inspired by her surroundings. “I love to paint scenes from my area of Maine whether it is a landscape, seascape, or any of the creatures that I see here on the Pemaquid peninsula. I also get excited to capture the wonderful island atmosphere of Monhegan whenever I have the opportunity to visit. My artistic approach is anchored in my personal connection to the subject, with light and color playing an important part in the design.”
