The annual International Workers Welcome will be held Monday, June 17, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. This yearly gathering is an opportunity for the international workers who keep our town ticking in the summer to know more about opportunities for them in the Boothbay region, and to learn where to go for resources if they should need special help.
Representatives from the Chamber, police department, and tutoring services via Tri-County Literacy will be at the Welcome to introduce themselves to the Workers. Rotary will also be present to help our International Workers out with bicycles to help them get around the region.
Lunch will be served, and our workers will go home with lots of toothsome goodies as well.
All are welcome!
