Holy Week at Congregational Church
Palm Sunday
This Sunday, March 25, marks the beginning of Holy Week with a lively celebration of Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday. The last of a series of messages for Lent will be offered by Ellie Hilscher, playing the role of the Slave Girl who challenged Peter. A parade of palms with the children will take place near the beginning of worship. Special music has been prepared by the choirs. Worship and Children's Sunday School take place at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Sunrise Service at Ocean Point
On April 1, a sunrise celebration of Easter will take place at 6 a.m. at what is now "two trees” at Ocean Point. Everyone is welcome to sing, pray, and celebrate the resurrection in the serenity of this beautiful location. Dress warmly!
Easter Morning
A joyful celebration of resurrection will take place at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday, April 1. Special music will be offered by the vocal and bell choirs and the Rev. Dr. Sarah Foulger will preach about “God’s Sense of Humor.” Following a special message for the children, the children will be invited to participate in a hunt for eggs and other symbols of Easter. Everyone is welcome.
