Holy Week at Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor
Palm Sunday at Congregational Church: This Sunday, April 9, marks the beginning of Holy Week with the celebration of Palm Sunday. The sixth of a series of sermons for Lent will be offered by the Rev. Dr. Sarah Foulger. The series, "Spiritual Gifts for Stressful Times," continues with "The Gift of Courage." Worship and children's Sunday school take place at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Maundy Thursday, April 13: 7 p.m. Service of Tenebrae with Holy Communion
Good Friday, April 14: 2 p.m. Ecumenical Service at St. Columba's
Sunrise Easter Service at Ocean Point: A sunrise celebration of Easter April 16 will take place at 5:30 a.m. at "three trees" Ocean Point. Everyone is welcome to sing, pray, and celebrate the resurrection in the serenity of this beautiful location. Dress warmly.
Easter Morning at Congregational Church: A joyful celebration of resurrection will take place at 10 a.m. Special music will be offered by the choirs and the Rev. Dr. Foulger will preach about "The Gift of Joy." Following a special message for the children, the children will be invited to participate in a hunt for eggs and other symbols of Easter. Everyone is welcome.
