Holiday magic has begun
If you haven't been in downtown Boothbay Harbor at night lately, you have to.
Signs of the holiday season are all around - from the lit garlands wrapped around the columns of the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library to the awesome lobster trap tree at Janson's, to the buoy tree and more.
Speaking of the buoy tree, don't miss it over the next three to five days: the final supermoon of 2024 is technically full on Friday, Nov. 15, but she looks mighty lovely already. In fact, this is the last supermoon until October 2025. Who couldn't use a little celestial and holiday magic now and again?
Drive downtown, park, take a walk, tuck in somewhere for a cup of cheer and a bite, window shop - the Early Bird Sale and PJ Party is Nov. 23 - and let the spirit of the holiday season begin to take hold.
