One person was injured and another arrested for allegedly operating under the influence following a two-car head-on collision at the intersection of Beath Road and Back Narrows Road in Boothbay Harbor the evening of June 10 around 10:30 p.m.
According to Boothbay Harbor Police Chief Bob Hasch, Emily Carroll of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for OUI and endangering the welfare of a child following the accident.
Carroll was operating a car with a child inside when it collided with a minivan driven by Kim Poore of East Boothbay. Hasch said that Poore was injured and brought by ambulance to Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. There were three other passengers in the minivan, Hasch said.
Hasch said the accident investigation is continuing and there may be other charges pending.
