Dear Editor:

We would like to thank Jennie Mitchell for the use of Brady's, Lisa Hallinan, Jennie Mitchell and Stephanie Hawke, who did a great job at organizing the fundraiser for the Boothbay Region High School Alumni Association on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Glenn Burnham, Gordon Goldsmith and their crew of musicians provided the music and were incredible.

Many thanks to the area businesses and individuals that donated items for a raffle and auction items. The event was a huge success, raising over $1,800.

Everyone had a great time, it was fun to catch up with alumni members and share laughs, memories and plan our next fundraising event.

Stay tuned, as the Alumni Association is planning a dance sometime mid-winter.

Thanks again for supporting the Alumni Association. Proceeds from this event will go toward funding the Alumni Banquet and Grand March.
