Governor to attend Boothbay Harbor Country Club ribbon-cutting ceremony May 11
Governor Paul R. LePage will join Paul and Giselaine Coulombe on Wednesday, May 11 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to unveil the newly built Boothbay Harbor Country Club.
The incredible $50 million dollar investment into the golf course renovations and new state of the art facility is anticipated to attract more people to the area and provide economic revitalization and stabilization for the Boothbay region.
During the 18-month construction phase, the building of the 32,000 square foot clubhouse employed more than 100 people and once open, the club will provide local jobs for up to 80 people.
The clubhouse and Grille 19 will be open to the public all season long with Paul’s Steakhouse also being open to the public during the shoulder season.
There is tremendous excitement from the local community, members and employees over the anticipated opening of the clubhouse on May 20.
