The Boothbay Region YMCA's Fall Program Session II begins Nov. 3 and runs until Dec. 20. The Y invites all non-members to attend member free Healthy Living classes at the Y. These include: Aero Dance, Cardio Step, Core & More, Low Impact Aerobics, Pilates-Yoga-Stretch, Seniors in Motion, Senior Sit & Stretch, Step to the Max, Total Body Challenge & Aqua Combo in the pool! Each class is offered more than once weekly. Try one or try them all.
Classes are a fantastic way to be and stay healthy. First, you have to commit to coming and it takes just three weeks to get on a routine schedule. Then, there is the whole social aspect of working out with friends and colleagues who plan to meet at a certain time each day.
Last, the variety of classes offered at the YMCA and the times they are offered lend to the busiest of schedules. Simply come to the Y front desk and say, "I’d like to try the member free Healthy Living classes for free, all session long."
Each time from then on out, check in at the desk and take the classes for free. If you take out an annual membership by Dec. 20, and were referred by a friend or colleague, make sure the front desk has their name as they will be entered into a drawing for a free annual Y membership simply for sharing the health of the Y with you.
