Le Café Français, a French conversation group, resumes its lively in-person meetings at the Edgecomb Community Church located at the intersection of Eddy and Cross Point Roads in Edgecomb. Our first meeting of the year included conversation about the French celebration of Epiphany. Participants shared an authentic and delicious galette des rois - “kings’ cake”, a popular French tradition.

French speakers of all levels are welcome. Participation, without pressure, allows attendees to have a “mini French immersion” experience twice monthly. Conversation topics and presentations include French language, songs, culture and other topics of mutual interest. Though not a formal language class, new phrases, vocabulary, and pronunciation are explained. Summaries and internet links are emailed to participants. 

Group meetings are free of charge and drop-in participants are welcome. Continuing our fifth year, we meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. two Monday mornings a month.
