Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission has announced a drive-through food box giveaway for all will be held Wednesday, March 17 at Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Road.

A free box of produce, meat and dairy will be given to those who show up between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. To reserve orders of 10 or more boxes, contact Sandy Gilbreath, (207) 232-5419, sandyg@lcrpc.org

COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed, including PPE worn at all times and social distancing practiced. Attendees are asked to stay in their car to avoid additional contact.

The food is from Native Maine and funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Additional support has been received from LincolnHealth, Lincoln County EMA, Healthy Lincoln County, Lincoln County Food Initiative and Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.
