Dedicated professional photographer Jim Fossett slipped on a pair of chest waders and, at low tide, strolled along the seabed and took these photographs of the work being done on the Boothbay Harbor footbridge on Monday, March 13.

Fossett, who grew up with a daily view of the footbridge from his family’s Atlantic Avenue home, said he knew the lay of the seabed so he didn’t fear getting stuck in the mud!

Fuller Marine is rebuilding the bridge and, despite the recent storms, work is progressing.
