After the recent request for additional FISH (Friends In Service Helping) drivers, we are pleased with the community’s response. We continue to experience a heightened need for volunteers to drive those people to their medical appointments.

FISH has been serving the Boothbay region for the last 16 years. With the closure of St. Andrews Hospital, the need for volunteer drivers has escalated. Please consider the importance of this much needed service for those of the region who can not drive themselves to necessary medical appointments. It may take an hour or two out of your day … and it will mean the world to them. Who knows? The legacy you create may be a ride you need in the future.
