Fire Auxiliary’s fundraiser
Dear Editor:
If you are not from the Boothbay region, you may have never heard about our small community and how it rallies around one of own in need. On Aug. 27 if you were driving by the Boothbay Common you would of seen it. The love for Clarence “Scott” Campbell was bursting through the air and there are so many that made this possible.
The Boothbay Region Fire Auxiliary would like to thank so many people in making the fundraiser such a huge success. Thank you to all the Fire Auxiliary staff for making this event happen and all your help. Thank you to the local fire departments and crews that came out and helped with the setting up and clean up to the workers that helped during the day.
There is a list a mile long to all the local businesses and locals that donated auction items. We couldn’t of done it with out you. Thank you to Shannon’s Unshelled for being open the day of the event and donating proceeds from the day to Scott. Thank you to Sandcastle Entertainment for donating a bounce house for the day.
Most of all thank you to everyone that came out to support such a wonderful cause. Scott was over joyed with everyone’s generosity and so we’re all of us to see so many people willing to help him out. Again thank you
