The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a fatal accident occurred at Damariscotta’s Route One and Business Route One near Nobleboro Monday morning. The crash involved a tractor-trailer and one other vehicle, authorities said.

State Police were reconstructing the accident and Waldoboro public safety personnel were helping with traffic control. As of shortly after 11 a.m., one lane was being kept open. Damariscotta police and fire departments were also working at the scene.
