    Ever wonder what it felt like to wear a bustle? 

    Join  Peggy Konitzky, Wiscasset site manager and historic costume collector, for an entertaining and informative look at the wild ride of fashion from the early 19th century to the Roaring Twenties, Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon

    Get an up-close look at the types of clothes the women of Castle Tucker and the Nickels-Sortwell House would have worn. Enjoy an illustrated slide show and examples from Peggy’s personal collection as well as the collection of local antique dealer Faye Snyder of Parade Antiques.
