Family Fun Day Lobster Bake Aug. 11

    The Lincoln County Democratic Committee’s Annual Family Fun Day Lobster Bake will take place on Sunday, Aug. 11, noon to 3 p.m., at Cider Hill Farm, 785 West Main St., Waldoboro.

    There will be outdoor games, live music by The Oystermen, and local food and drink provided by the Narrows Tavern’s Jeff Hurd, Pemaquid Oyster Co., and WaldoStone Farm.

    Local Democrats and progressive unenrolled voters will be joined by Treasurer for the State of Maine Henry Beck, State Senator and Senate Majority Whip Eloise Vitelli, State Representatives Allison Hepler, Chloe Maxmin and Holly Stover, County Commissioners Bill Blodgett and Mary Trescot, candidates for U.S. Senate Speaker Sara Gideon and Betsy Sweet, Democratic State Committee Chair Kathleen Marra.

    Tickets are $40 per person for a lobster dinner with all the trimmings. Other options are also available. Reservations are requested by Monday, Aug. 5.
