Fall Foliage Festival fun 2021

Sun, 10/10/2021 - 4:45pm

Hundreds of people headed for Boothbay Railway Village Museum Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 for the 53rd Fall Foliage Festival.

Over 50 vendors guaranteed there were wares to tempt just about everyone!

“We had a great day Saturday with immense crowds,” said BRVM board president Charlie Bamberg, who was out directing traffic. “Today (Sunday), both of the parking areas were full before we opened at 10 a.m.”

The people kept flowing in for the event on both days, with Sunday being cloudy but rain-free. The new set-up, with the vendors set up around the village green and tables and picnic tables placed in the middle of the green, got good reviews.

“I wanted to open things up a little bit and I think it worked out well so people could gather to eat and watch the action,” BRVM marketing and events coordinator Lori Reynolds said.
