This summer First Federal Savings Bank on 41 Townsend Ave. in Boothbay Harbor is hosting an exhibition of four regional artists who are all part of the Plein Air Painters of Maine.

Plein air is a term that refers to paintings that are made on location out of doors in all kinds of weather and Maine has a very active group of painters working on location.  The subject matter of these paintings include seascapes, landscapes, city and garden scenes.

The artists in the current show are all active with the Plein Air Painters Of Maine, Midcoast Chapter, that was initiated years ago by local Ocean Point artist Corinne McIntyre.  See the works of Wendy Korjeff Bellows of Boothbay, Ed Buonvecchio of Wiscasset, Rebecca Kresovsky of West Bath, and Bill Robitzek of Brunswick.

Work will be on display throughout the summer and fall and all work is for sale.

First Federal’s lobby is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
