"The Gift of Dialogue"
This Sunday, March 12, at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, the second of a series of sermons for Lent will be offered by the Rev. Dr. Sarah Foulger. The series, "Spiritual Gifts for Stressful Times," continues with "The Gift of Dialogue." Worship and Children's Sunday School take place at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
"The Hardest Things Jesus Asks" ~ Lenten Learnings
Each Wednesday evening during Lent, from 5:30-7, there will be a simple soup and bread supper followed by a presentation and discussion on some of the hardest things Jesus asks of followers. This Wednesday, March 15: "Love Your Enemy" will be led by the Rev. Ken Bradsell, recently retired Reformed Church of America pastor of the church in Oman. Everyone is welcome. Sign up to attend any or all of the sessions and/or sign up to provide a pot of soup or a loaf of bread at Congregational Church: 633-4757.
14th annual Talent Show & Comfort Food Dinner
This Sunday afternoon, March 12 at 4 p.m., the Annual Talent Show will take place in the church Sanctuary Music, humor, and poetry will make for a fun afternoon. Following the show, a comfort food dinner will take place in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome. There is no fixed price but all donations will go to the Community Navigator Program of the Boothbay Region Community Resource Council.
