Ernest F. Johnson, 52, 0f Eastport, Maine passed away unexpectedly at home on June 30, 2019.

Ernest was born in Boothbay Harbor on Sept. 16, 1966, son of Olaf and Judy Johnson of Boothbay.

After high school he attended the University of Maine at Machias for three years then went to work for Connors Aquaculture in Eastport for about five years. Later on he worked at Havey & Wilson Pharmacy until it closed, then worked at the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home until he had to leave because of health issues.

He was predeceased by his father, Olaf W. Johnson of Boothbay.

He is survived by his mother, Judith Johnson; and one beloved brother, William A. Johnson, both of Boothbay. He is also survived by his wife, Kim, and son, Jason, both of Eastport.

A graveside service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
