Aug. 2, 2024 “She said Yes!”

Laura Fortune Escalante of San Jose, Costa Rica and Naples, Florida is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Sharon Maria Fortune to Cody Lewis Mitchell, son of Edwin and Lori Mitchell of Boothbay.

Sharon graduated from “La Salle” in San Josè, CR and attended UCIMED medical college. She is currently employed by Boothbay Harbor County Club.

Cody is a graduate of Southport, Boothbay Elementary School and Hyde. He is presently working at his family’s business Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV Resort.

An engagement party is set for 2025. A wedding date has yet to be set.
