The deadline for advertisements and classifieds for the Thursday, Dec. 27 edition will be at noon on Friday, Dec. 21. The deadline for advertisements and classifieds for the Thursday, Jan. 3 edition will be at noon on Friday, Dec. 28.

For press releases, letters, columns and community news, the deadlines for those two editions will be at 4:30 p.m. on those Fridays, Dec. 21 and Dec. 28.

The Boothbay Register office will be closed on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1. The office will reopen the day after Christmas and New Year’s Day at 8 a.m.
