Dear Editor:

We wish to offer our deepest appreciation to Tancy Mitchell, her staff and all the volunteers who hosted the first community luncheon of the season and made it be known that donations would be accepted on behalf of the Ukrainian people who are engaged in a daily life and death struggle for their nation’s freedom.

On Monday, March 4, Brady’s opened from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to welcome the community to a tasty and nourishing lunch of soup, bread and homemade desserts. Our thanks go out, also, to all who attended the fundraising luncheon and gave generously to support the rescue and humanitarian efforts of helpukraine22.org.
