Dear Editor:

To this wonderful community: Thank you, thank you for your generous donations of coats, hats, gloves, sweaters, and all manner of good used, and often new, warm clothes for the new Americans in Lewiston. 

This community has rallied, as it always does, to help whenever and wherever there is need. For all you have done, I thank you on behalf of our refugees.  I only wish you could see their smiles, feel their hugs, and see the gratitude in their eyes.  They are feeling the love!  

I am proud to be a small part of what makes our community so very special.
