Dear Editor:

The administration has announced they intend to form a “disinformation” board as part of Homeland Security, a “Ministry of Truth” as it were. Keep in mind that the Department of Homeland Security was one of the largest expansions of the American bureaucracy in history. Its formation helped give us the Patriot Act, a gross assault on the rights of Americans, but anything for security, right?

This from a president whose election was only possible by the suppression of information concerning his son’s business dealings. Fifty-plus “intelligence agents” helped perpetrate the lie that, what many of us knew had merit, was instead “Russian misinformation.” Wouldn’t that unto itself fall under the category of “disinformation?” That president’s own party has been responsible for “disinformation” in the form of the Steele dossier which fueled a years long attack on first a candidate then a sitting president. We now know it was all manufactured out of thin air and paid for by his opponent.

The proposed head of this board is herself a promoter of the “Russian collusion” lie but I suppose who better to tell us what the government’s idea of the truth is but a liar herself
