Discover the history and ecology of the Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves in our series of guided nature hikes that follow COVID-19 safety guidelines. Join BRLT Environmental Educator Tracey Hall on a leisurely paced walk averaging one or two miles in length on easy to moderate terrain. First up: the Gregory Preserve, 2 Sawyer’s Island Road, Boothbay at 10 a.m. Learn about the origin of the BRLT preserves and the plants and animals that call them home. Locations rotate among the preserves, and participants may attend one hike or several. Each hike is limited to 10 people. Masks and registration required. To register: thall@bbrlt.org or 633-4818.
