The Boothbay Region Seahawk field hockey team dropped to 2-5 on the season with a 6-0 loss to the Dirigo Cougars in Dixfield on Monday, Sept. 30.

Scoring goals for Dirigo were Mackenzie Woods (2), Grace Averill, Emily Woods, Madisyn Bradeen and Zoey Bordeau.

The Cougars improved to 5-2 with the win.

At press time, Boothbay's Oct. 2 game at home vs. Lisbon, was reschedule for Saturday, Oct. 12 at noon. The Monday, Oct. 7 game at home vs. Oak Hill was rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 3:30 p.m.
