Incumbent Charles “Chuck” Cunningham and newcomer Julie Roberts were elected as Boothbay selectmen on Monday, May 1 in the town’s annual meeting vote.

The voting results from Town Clerk Andrea Lowery showed Cunningham received 390 votes and Roberts had 308. Erik C. Bertelsen received 252 votes and Karen Kusnierz had 67.

Abigail Jones was reelected to the CSD Superintending School Committee with 483 votes. V. Kevin Anthony was reelected to the Boothbay Region Water District with 484 votes. Sarah Fahnley, with 484 votes, was reelected to the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District. And Bernard MacPhee was elected to the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District for an unexpired two-year term.

Write-in votes for the open Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD Board of Trustees seat saw Paul Roberts receiving 47 votes and Daniel Hallinan getting 28 votes.
