Christmas Pageant

This Sunday, Dec. 23, the children of the Congregational Church will present a traditional Christmas Pageant, telling the story of the birth of Jesus in scripture, drama, word, and song. The 10 a.m. service will begin with prayer, Carols, and scripture. Then, the children will come in to present the pageant, under the wonderful leadership of children's education director, Magen Chryplewicz. Everyone is welcome.

Christmas Eve services

On Christmas Eve, there will be two worship services at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, a 4:30 p.m. Family-oriented, child-friendly service and an 8 p.m. solemn service of Lessons and Carols with Candlelight. The bell choir will play at both services and the choral choir will sing at the 8 p.m. service. Rev. Foulger will offer a message at both services, at 4:30 a participatory story, and at 8, a Christmas Eve homily.
