Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor Christmas Fair Dec. 3

Tue, 11/29/2016 - 11:45am

The Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor will hold its annual Christmas Fair on Dec. 3 in the Fellowship Hall starting with “Breakfast with Santa” and his elves from 8 to 10 a.m. Belgium waffles will be made to order, loaded with your choice of fruit and garnished with whipped cream, if desired. The cost of breakfast is $2 per person, or $10 per family.

At 9 a.m. the Fair will begin and go on until 1 p.m. We plan to have lots of gifts and crafts for all ages for sale, and a Fuel Assistance Table to help those who cannot afford to heat their homes, as well as our Trustees' Auction Table, yummy pies for sale at our Deacons' Table, a Missions' Table, a BeadforLife Table, selling bead necklaces made in Uganda, a “Crèche Walk” throughout the Church, lots of beautiful holiday cookies for sale on the Cookie Walk, heirloom gingerbread houses for sale, and our Sunday School kids table filled with handmade crafts with proceeds benefiting Heifer International. In addition, our Senior Sunday School kids will be gift-wrapping your treasures if you’d like.

We will, once again, be serving soup, chili, and chowder to our guests at lunch time at a cost of $5 per person.

On display, will be our handmade quilt, each square lovingly made by our church members, and which has been professionally quilted. We will be selling raffle tickets for this gorgeous, thematic quilt for $10 each or 3 for $25. The winning ticket will be drawn next summer.

Parking is available in our church parking lot behind the church or in the lot across Eastern Avenue.

We look forward to seeing you all next Saturday morning at the Congregational Church in Boothbay Harbor.
