Dear Editor:

I’m writing in support of the work that Steve Lorrain and the building exploratory committee have done. No matter how your readers might feel about the merits of the current or revised proposal for new facilities at BRHS and BRES, they should know how much volunteer time and effort, like Steve’s have gone into this project. Steve and the Building Exploratory Committee are fine examples of citizens who are willing to give of their time and talent to make our community a better place to live, work, and learn.

Readers should also know that all their work has been done in public, with many opportunities for the community to be involved, ask questions, and make their views known. Whether the community will support the eventual final recommendations in November, or not, kudos to Steve and the committee for the hard work they have done.
