The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce announces two additional chefs, Chef Fabrizio Ventricini, executive chef at Ports of Italy and Chef Delroy “Dice” Bennett, will be participating in the 5^th Annual Claw Down lobster-bite competition. We now have 13 chefs competing this year! Claw Down, an annual event sponsored by the Chamber, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 6-9 p.m. at the Ocean Point Marina in East Boothbay.

At the Claw Down attendees sample all of the savory offerings along with a selection of beers and wines from the craft brewers and vintners. Guests and a panel of celebrity judges choose their favorite “bite” in this moveable feast held in the beautifully transformed boatyard.
