Celebrating ‘God & Country’ at Boothbay Baptist July 7

Pianist Timothy Noble to perform in church
Sun, 06/23/2019 - 8:30am

In observance of our nation’s Independence Day, God & Country will be celebrated Sunday, July 7, at Boothbay Baptist Church during the 10:15 a.m. worship service, followed by a family picnic.

The service will feature patriotic music sung by both the adult and children’s choirs, and a special mini-concert will be offered by Timothy Noble, an award-winning Gospel pianist and singer who has performed in the region in past summers. Tim began playing piano at age three and has amazed audiences throughout the U.S. with his God-given talent. He has opened concerts for nationally known vocalists and groups, and has participated in the annual National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, where he performed on the main stage for thousands in the Parade of Pianos and Artists Showcase. His aim is to bring glory to God through his music.

Delivering the message will be guest speaker Wayne Raychard, dynamic Bible teacher and retired missionary to Kenya whom the church has known and supported for many years.

Following the service will be the annual church picnic with grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and beverages provided, as well as side dishes and desserts contributed by members and friends. Seating will be in the Fellowship Hall downstairs in the church, or, if the weather is good, folks may bring lawn chairs and sit outside.

All are invited to this very special service and to the barbecue afterward. Attire for the day is casual.

The church is located in Boothbay Center across from the Common. For more information, call the church office, 633-7378.
