This scene from the July 2 performance of Cave Dogs at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor was one of many that dazzled and mystified. The piece, entitled "Sureminded Uncertainties," used innovative, large-scale shadow projections cast onto a screen, such as the photo above. Shadows move in concert with projected video imagery, spoken narrative, and an original soundtrack.
