Free car care is offered on Saturday, May 12, 9 to 11 a.m., in the parking lot at Boothbay Baptist Church.

This entails a safety inspection by knowledgeable volunteers and is offered as a ministry to single moms, widows, those in financial need or who are having car problems. No appointment is needed.

Complementary refreshments are provided while you wait, and free car wash is also offered.

Rain date will be Saturday, May 19.
