BRHS opening information
Dear BRHS Families,
It is with great pride that I welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year! I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such dynamic and spirited students, an extremely dedicated staff and a supportive school community. We are here to prepare our students and engage our communities. This is my fifth year as the BRHS Principal. I am excited to continue to learn and grow with Boothbay Region High School as we move forward to strengthen and shape our school mission. I have had the honor to work with students and staff, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th in the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor CSD. I am beyond thrilled to have the privilege to share my skills as an educational leader with Boothbay Region High School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure each student’s success.
BRHS has worked hard to provide programs and activities that benefit our students and serve as a source of pride in our community. We are preparing students for an ever-changing world that will require them to be lifelong learners that are adept with technology and part of a global society. There truly is something for everyone here with over 90 individual course offerings, including numerous Advanced Placement courses, more than 20 athletic teams, and multiple programs in fine and performing arts.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest staff member to the BRHS family, Science teacher, Ms. Ally Ryan. We are excited to welcome Ms. Ryan!
Staff members, students and families must work together to move our school forward, ensure that all children are receiving the best education possible and make certain that we all feel comfortable, safe and supported. The collaboration, collegiality and teamwork that go on within the walls of the Boothbay Region High School is truly amazing. We are continuing to explore ways to expand our programming out into the Boothbay Region and the possibilities of community based learning. As always, we invite you to be part of this exhilarating work and to collaborate with us.
